Ben Harris I arrived here due to Isak's involvement with the band The Empire Line. It's been a couple of years since I heard industrial music this dread-inducing and hostile sounding, definitely for fans of IRM and Content Nullity! Both threatening and beckoning simultaneously. I'm particularly enthralled with the third track "Yellow Tulips", it's amelodic looping hook acting as a canvas for lyrics that are at turns intimate, distressing and surreal. Favorite track: Yellow Tulips.

The macabre of the soundscapes with the devilish echoes from Hans gives us the total picture: a shadow hovering in a society in madness. This is a soundtrack to dementia and enmity. Iron Sight’s music crosses territory between dystopian sci-fi futurism and biblical eschatology, perhaps the same event, the end of the Uroburos’ tail; mechanical percussion hits anchor drones that evoke Albrecht Durer’s vision of The Four Horsemen, bristling synths audibly resemble locust drones descending upon rotting fields, a voice made from barbed wire emerges from a storm of reverb.

This record, as the title suggests focuses on the trauma of a broken heart, bodies longed for are dissected and reconstructed, the minimal composition of the tracks allows cinematic spaces to unfold, constructing the scaffolding for a descent into obsession, mania and the annihilation of memory.

Well, Iron Sight combines excellent atmospherics with a particularly unsettling atmosphere and aggressive vocals which do not bring cliche metal or power electronics to mind. That plus the dreamy synth backdrop make me want to listen to this album over and over again. Dawid Scumwalski
